moments made better together

Just attended the Crochet Hand Mitts event hosted by Liss of Liss Makes and can honestly say that I enjoyed it 100%. It was such a lovely, relaxing and friendly atmosphere and Liss is so patient and thorough in teaching us the basic crochet stitches. And we got a great product to show for it at the end! Thank you Wayward Events for organising and thank you to Liss Makes!

I am a regular to Craft & Co, I am able to make time for my own craft and socialise at the same time. Love it.

Relaxed and informal setting. friendly welcoming. A nice mixture of people of ages. Would definitely recommend.

I very much enjoyed the Robin event, I’ve never done this kind of crafting before, but I was made very comfortable, by others and by the lady running it. They were very patient and helpful. I would highly recommend to others. It was a very fun afternoon. Thank you Amelia for organising and to the lady for running it.

I recently attended a couple of fantastic events with Wayward Events, a Paint and Sip and Painted Bricks. Everything was organised beautifully with anything you might need on the day, Amelia is super friendly and welcoming - I came on my own both times but you never feel like it as soon as you arrive! Looking forward to attending more Wayward Events!

I recently attended the ‘empowered wardrobe’ organised by wayward events. It was very well organised and all attendees were made to feel welcome and relaxed from the point of arrival. The evening was really enjoyable and informative too. The style consultant leading the session was great and encouraged participation from us all. There was lots of laughter in the room - always sigh of a good event! Thanks so much,
wayward events, and I look forward to joining other events.

As a mum of two under two, my personal style had recently defaulted to "whatever doesn't have an immediate, visible spit-up stain." My wardrobe was a monument to the sartorial slump—until I booked Wayward Events' 'Empowered Wardrobe'.

This workshop was genuinely a lifesaver. I went in hoping for tips; I left feeling like I'd found my style superpower. Learning I'm a Deep Winter didn't just feel like a classification, it felt like a cosmic calling. Suddenly, the colours that look good on me are just... right. The fact that I also walked away knowing which lipstick shade won't make me look clinically unwell. Pure bonus.

The energy was incredible: true women supporting women. It was refreshing to work in a group and get honest feedback—though I will say, watching a stranger hold up a colour swatch to your face and firmly declare, "No. Absolutely not," is a necessary jolt!

Louise was on hand, empowering everyone to feel the best in clothes and styles that work for them. I now feel so confident in my body, and that slump is officially over.

If you're stuck in a style rut, run, don't walk, to this event.
Five out of five stars. (My wallet, however, gives it zero, knowing the next shopping trip is inevitable.)

I had previously attended a wayward event to felt a highland cow. The course run by Ditzy rose was brilliant so I definitely wanted to make a robin too! This was a from scratch felt make but with clear instructions , guidance and help when needed from Nicki my little robin formed over the next couple of hours!
Would definitely recommend attending a wayward event as everyone was really friendly and welcoming and would also recommend Ditzy rose courses too! Wondering what the next one will as I start a felt collection!

I attended the wayward events pottery workshop to create a Christmas gonk. I had never done any pottery before and I was thrilled with the result! Everybody attending was very friendly and supportive of each other and Amelia, the leader of wayward events, made sure that everyone felt welcome and at ease through introducing us all to each other at the start. In terms of logistics, everything was very well organised by wayward events. The pottery workshop
was a really enjoyable and fun event. Highly recommended!

A great book club! No airs and graces just an opportunity to share honest views and opinions. No holes bared! Down to earth group, very welcoming. Good fun 🤩
