About the Event
Join Liss from Liss Makes for a workshop to make a giant knitted blanket using your arms as the needles. Arm knitting is a unique technique that allows you to create knitted fabric using your arms instead of traditional knitting needles. This method results in super-sized loops, and the thickness of the yarn determines how many stitches fit on your arm.
Using a 2kg ball of wool, you will be able to make a blanket approx. 75 x 145cm. There will be a selection of colours to choose from which will be pre-ordered. Some knowledge of knitting would be helpful but we are keeping numbers small so there will be plenty of help available for any beginners.
