You know your business. You know what you want to say. So why is it that the second all eyes are on you, your breathing changes, your words disappear or you suddenly don't sound quite like yourself?

Whether it’s introducing yourself at a networking event, speaking to a room, meeting a potential client or hitting record on a social video, confident communication is a skill — and it can be learned.

In this special HOT session, Kate Cubley from Tala Performance will deliver a condensed introduction to her six-week SPEAK programme, exploring how your body, breath and voice work together when you're communicating under pressure.

Over 45 minutes, Kate will introduce practical techniques to help you understand what happens when nerves kick in, use your breathing to feel calmer and more in control, and use your voice and body to communicate with greater confidence, clarity and presence.

And this isn't about learning to be louder, faking confidence or becoming somebody you're not.

It's about learning how to sound like you even when people are watching.

The 45-minute session will be followed by a Q&A with Kate, giving you the opportunity to ask questions about your own speaking and confidence challenges.
